Research Interests
The Author has been studying with McTimoney College of Health for 4 years and has an interest in Chiropractic healthcare and Autism research.
As an Autistic Chiropractic student and the parent of an autistic child the 'hard-wiring' of autism has been a fascination for a long time. Why do autistic children have speech & language deficits? Is the deficit caused by the central nervous system or is the cause developmental? Can upper cervical Chiropractic care make positive changes? These are the basic questions asked by the researcher
Our current research question "Do parents/carers of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder perceive any change in speech quality/quantity post Chiropractic care?" is the first in a series of research projects connecting Autism and Chiropractic care.
